On Wednesday’s “Good Friday Morning” Chris Evans announced that he had been named as the new host of MTV’s flagship program “Mtv World.”
Evans is currently the host of “MV World,” which is a popular cable channel aimed at young adults.
He was recently named one of The New York Times’ “30 Under 30” in 2018.
In his new role, Evans will be a new showrunner for the show.
The move comes after the show’s first season was canceled after only one season due to poor ratings.
Evans has been the host and producer of the program since it debuted in 2011.
